Regen is useful to have but if you need regen to survive something is probably wrong with your current setup or you're too weak for the current tile. Defensive stat-wise, aim for Defense and Magic HP. Being able to summon one of these special skeletons can make a difference in any fight. The necromancer class is quite strong against most of. A good balance of these stats is very important for your chances of doing high-level loops and defeating bosses. This allows you access to special skeleton such as tank and claw skeleton rather than the default sword skeleton. The main and unique stats for the necromancer are summon level, skeleton quality and max skeletons, which are discussed in detail a bit later in this Loop Hero Necromancer guide. Not as important, but still a must-have is Skeleton Quality. Ideally, you'll want at least 6 by end game. Consider keeping at least 3-4 max skeletons (default 2) because you'll need them in some fight to win (like Siren, Vampire + Bat Swarm, Ghosts etc.). However, it's quite difficult to keep up that many skeletons as your enemy get stronger and get bigger damage.
You can summon up to 8 skeletons, including 4 melee and 4 ranged mage. Maximum Skeleton number is the next important stat. You'll start seeing your skeleton dropping dead once your loop count go higher than your skeleton level, which can happen as early as loop 3 4. You'll want to keep skeleton level at least equal to loop count to ensure you clear it without issues. Skeleton Level is the most important stat for dealing damage. Consider investing in suburb or early exp trait to get the most out of it. Unlike other classes, a necromancer's power lie not in gear, but in trait instead. If an area you know what will to packed with mobs, place several beacon warding that area to reduce the number of threats you have to face. To put this to practice, you need to plan out your play area accordingly. To put it bluntly, the exact opposite of what rouge can farm. Necromancer is also good against Vampirism/Life Steal because he uses regen stat which make it extremely easy to farm vampire mansion/Swarm combo where life steal hurt instead. You need to know enemy behavior and adjust your card deck accordingly in order to play well.įor example, necromancer is great against enemy that target high damage threat and enemy that counter damage, but weak against large mob pack, mobs that doesn't change target.
